Services > Children’s Vision
It is important to have a child’s eyes examined whether there appears to be a problem or not. Many eye problems in children do not have symptoms or signs.
All children should have their first eye examination at the age of 6 months. The next examination should be before starting school and then annually thereafter. We do eye evaluations for children from 3 years of age.
During the eye evaluation, any vision deficiencies or associated visual coordination that require assistance are identified.
